Mah Tovu (Ner Tamid Egalitarian Minyan)2020 Shabbaton

On February 28 and 29, 2020, we hosted our annual Shabbaton with guest speaker Simeon Chavel.   Professor Chavel is Associate Professor at the University of Chicago Divinity School. He studies the literature of the Hebrew Bible, the religion of ancient Israel and Judea, and their relationship. His approach combines theory of literature, theory of religion, the ancient historical, social, and material contexts, and early Jewish interpretation.
